Everything You Need for Dining Alfresco

The weather is heating up and I’m feeling all of the summer vibes lately! When it gets warmer I love to eat dinner outside and I especially love hosting dinner parties for a little alfresco situation. There’s something about dinner outside on a summer night that is so special. If you want to do outdoor meals yourself this summer, I put together everything you need for dining alfresco.

These pieces are great to have on hand when you’re hosting guests or even if you want to go all out for a family dinner. We typically use at least one of these items every night but when I’m hosting I like to do a whole tablescape set-up! Keep reading for all of my favorite alfresco dining pieces and let me know if you want me to share more home-focused posts in the future!

Serving Bowl: Such a staple piece for hosting as you can serve virtually anything out of this. I love the simple look and it’s under $25!

Beverage Tub: I like using a beverage tub when I have a party so guests can easily grab their favorite drink themselves. The rattan detail on this one is so summery and cute.

Citronella Candle: While I love eating outside in the summer, the bug situation is…. not fun!! Citronella candles are a must and I like that this one still looks good with the table set-up and outdoor decor.

Sectioned Serving Board: You can’t do outdoor hosting without a serving board of some kind and I like that this one has sections built in for easy appetizer making!

Woven Table Runner: I always start with a table runner when I’m making a tablescape and this one is so simple and neutral you really can’t go wrong!

Glass Pitcher: Any glass pitcher will do but I think the slim and simple design of this $17 one is so chic!

Round Placemat: I like to jazz up a table with some fun placemats and I really love the texture that this one brings in! It’s also made of plastic so it is super easy to clean.

Stemless Wineglass: If you prefer your wine glasses without stems, this glass has a more square and modern shape than other ones I have seen and I am into it!

Dinner Napkin: Napkins are another easy way to add a little fun to your table linens and the watercolor print of this one is so pretty but still won’t clash with everything else.

Outdoor Lanterns: Make your outdoor dining space a little cozier with these rattan lanterns! Just add candles, or my preference, these flameless candles, and you’re set!

Acrylic Wine Glass: If you don’t want to deal with any potential party fouls or broken glass, these acrylic wine glasses are for you. Completely shatter-proof and look like the real thing!
