5 STYLISH HOLIDAY OUTFITS
One of my favorite things about this time of year is styling holiday outfits. How fun, right? Give me all the puffy sleeves, sequins, and fun tights. In this post, I am putting together 5 stylish holiday outfits that would be perfect for Thanksgiving, Christmas parties, and even NYE! Whatever your occasion – whether you’re going casual or all out this year – I’ve got you covered.
I wore a simple black sweater dress with Gucci tights and slouchy boots ($250 off!!) for Friendsgiving. This outfit would be PERFECT for Turkey Day or your girls’ holiday brunch. Throw on a cute beret to add a little extra element to it. Comfy, stylish, and slimming! Oh, and don’t forget the statement top coat, of course. How adorable are those faux fur sleeves? Plus, knee high boots and top coats are the perfect combination when it comes to creating a really balanced and flattering look.
Obviously, sparkles go hand in hand with the holidays. This is especially true when it comes to New Year’s Eve, when the night is usually full of glitter, sparkles, and sequins galore. If you are not sure how you feel about sequins, opt for a simple black sequin. I LOVED rocking this black sequin dress with a bow ($200 off). Keep the accessories minimal and wear with a sleek shoe, such as this acrylic and patent leather heel. Then, don your best silver jewellery to really top off this look.
WHO ELSE LOVES A GOOD FLORAL PRINT?
Let’s talk about fall florals for a sec. Yall, I am OBSESSED with a dark floral, especially for the holidays. It’s like a little way to keep the summer around a bit longer and I love it. Obviously, I typically like to edge up a floral look. In this case, I added a Gucci belt and some fun accessories. Then, I topped the look off with some cute, but still edgy, black leather bow-tie slip ons. I love the thought of this outfit for Ryan’s company Christmas lunch.
THE FABRIC THAT WILL MAKE YOU SWOON
Black velvet. Is there anything better for Christmas-time? I wore this stunning black velvet dress for our family pictures and to Ryan’s company holiday party last night. It hugs in all the right places, with the sleeves adding the perfect wow factor. I swear I got more compliments on this dress than any other dress I have worn. I paired it with my oh so comfy Penny Knot Mules and Alessandra Rich heart earrings. A little unsolicited tip about holiday work parties? You’ll want to bring along a medium clutch to hold all your essentials. Phone, lipstick, gum, keys, etc. If you plan on recreating this look for yourself, grab a black clutch to top off the look. Or, use your clutch to add a touch of color to the ensemble.
THESE BOOTS ARE MADE FOR WERKIN’
Looking for a more casual option? You’ve come to the right place. This black faux leather is PERFECT. I’m thinking casual holiday party vibes with all your besties. For this look, I paired with my SUPER VERSATILE Tamara Mellon knee-high boots, high-waisted black jeans, and my chic Janessa Leone hat. You guys know how much I love my hats. With this outfit, you could throw on any t-shirt or sweater that works for the occasion. How about this sparkly star sweater underneath? If you plan on spending time outdoors, maybe nearby a warm holiday campfire, I recommend opting for a warmer layer like a sweater or turtleneck.
UNDER $200 OPTIONS
Looking for more budget friendly options? I am right there with you. Holiday style doesn’t have to come with a gigantic price tag. I am linking a TON of my favorite sequin tops and dresses, as well as some velvet options and a few faux leather pieces in the widget above. With all these colors and styles to gain inspiration from, I know you’ll find the perfect dress for all your special occasions this holiday season. As always, let me know if you have any questions.
