The Swimwear & Coverups You Need on Rotation

Hello ladies!! I know it has been a while since I’ve shared a new blog post but I am SO excited to get the blog rolling again and will be sharing two new posts a week. I want to be a resource that you can lean on for fashion tips, how-to’s, recipes, beauty and lifestyle things, and more – so expect to find all of that on the blog consistently moving forward!

In case you missed it, we just got back from a week-long family vacation in Costa Rica and it was SO fun. We had a good mix of relaxation and exploring (you know we can’t relax too long with the boys running around though ha) and overall it was an amazing trip. Since I basically was living in swimwear and coverups throughout the vacay I thought what better timing than now for a post on all of the swimwear and coverups you need on rotation!

Now that the weather is heating up and spring is upon us, I know a lot of us are shopping for swimwear so these suits and coverups will have you covered throughout the entire season. I’m mostly a neutrals girl so that’s what you’ll find in this post, but comment below and let me know if you want me to round up some colorful swimwear finds for you ladies.

Just click the product that you’re interested in and it will take you to a direct link! Also, make sure to follow me on LTK as I’ll be sharing a TON of spring finds and content over there so soon!

Like I mentioned above, I love a neutral swimsuit and the best part is that you’ll still reach for it season after season. I think it’s important to have swimwear in classic styles that won’t be pushed out of the trend cycle after one spring/summer AND that you won’t get sick of easily. I’m not saying to skip the fun, bright, trendy-looking suits, but if you’re investing in new swim this season get the staples! Here are a few of my faves to add to your rotation this year:

Cutout Bandeau Top and High-Waisted Bottoms: This swimsuit would look great on any body type and I love that it’s a classic style BUT has a little something fun going on with the cutouts. Such a great way to grab something practical but avoid feeling like it’s boring.

Mesh String Bikini Top and String Bottoms: I love the dual-layer mesh situation going on with this swimsuit. I feel like a string bikini is always fun to keep in your arsenal – or if you’re looking for a little more coverage – pair the top with some solid black high-wasted bottoms!

Stretchy Ribbed Bikini Set: This suit is by the brand named Hunza G and they are picking up popularity for their one-size-only swimwear. I know what you’re thinking…. one size?!? Immediate no. But trust me on this… these suits are fitting women in a range of sizes and they look FAB. The material is super stretchy and high-quality, making it a chic, no-frills suit you’ll reach for again and again.

Cutout One-Piece: If you’re more of a one-piece girl I think this one-shoulder one-piece is so cute. The cutout gives it the perfect peek of skin and it’s still classic enough to where you won’t get sick of it. Super budget-friendly, too!

When it comes to coverups, I like having a mix of different options to work with. You can’t go wrong with a coverup dress, but lately, I’ve been loving a matching button-up and pants or shorts as well. Here are a few coverups to add to your rotation:

Cutout Dress: I like this coverup because it totally can double as a dress to wear out to lunch or dinner if you’re headed somewhere a little nicer! I think it’s always a good idea to have a dressier-looking coverup for those days when you might not have time to change after the pool or beach.

Sheer Button-Up and Pants: This set is so easy to throw on and is a lightweight option for those extra-warm days! I like that it covers you up while also subtly showing off your cute suit underneath. I also love a striped button-up and shorts set for a similar feel.

Gauzy Coverup Top: Keep it casual with this coverup top paired with your favorite denim shorts! This little top would go with any type of swimwear and is a super affordable option.
