Anyone else feel overwhelmed with Thanksgiving coming SO soon? Ok, SAME. Don’t get me wrong, I love the holidays, but I tend to wait until the last minute. Shocker, I KNOW. But don’t you worry, I got you, girl! Today, I am sharing my super easy, modern Thanksgiving tips on what to wear, what to eat (I created an entire menu for you using some of my FAV recipes), and what to drink that will cure your holiday fatigue and make you stand out amongst the crowd!
MODERN THANKSGIVING TIPS: WHAT TO WEAR
First, let’s get the most important detail out of the way: WHAT TO WEAR. Whether you want to go fancy, casual, or chic, here are 3 outfits that will work well for Thanksgiving and will get you through the holiday season. Now help me choose, what should I wear?! Also, almost every single piece you see here is ON SALE, and many pieces are less than $200!
[one_third padding=”0 3px 0 0″][/one_third][one_third padding=”0 3px 0 0″][/one_third][one_third_last][/one_third_last]This bell-sleeved sweater paired with a plaid mini and over the knee boots is chic, cozy, and cute…the 3 C’s! ha I have gotten a TON of wear out of this cozy gray sweater. And priced at under $100, it’s super affordable. The colors in this mini-skirt are perfect for Thanksgiving!
The plaid print offers a more modern take on the classic shift dress paired with a sleek black turtleneck, dot tights and sock booties. You can easily add a black wool coat or moto jacket.
This oversized sweater with leggings look is both comfy and hip. These HIGH WAISTED Spanx faux leather leggings are giving me life right now AND are great for hiding that post-Thanksgiving mum tum. Throw on a hat, a cozy sweater, and some fur-lined mules. DONE and DONE.
What about items already in your closet? Try opting for a monochromatic look, such as this outfit featured in my What to Wear on Thanksgiving post from last year. Stick with colors such as beige, green, or winter white for a more festive look. Another chic and comfy option? Style a pair of high-waisted mom jeans with a cami and blazer. I love this silver cami paired with these on-trend jeans…you can see the entire look here. Happy Styling! Let me know if you need help. Now…what to EAT.
