Happy Friday, babes! I hope you all had an awesome week. Mine was super busy with work, blog, and lot’s of family time. I only traveled 2 days this week, and it was GLORIOUS! Surely, you guys have been following along on the blog…so. much. fun. stuff. Did you catch my Botox post from Wednesday? Yes, I launched my beauty section with a post about a subject that for whatever reason, people do not like to talk about openly. Well, I did it, and I hope it is helpful for you.

LCL STYLE: HOLIDAY STYLE IDEAS

Ok, sooooo we’re back, y’all! The ladies of LCL Style are at it again. To recap, I joined forces with Christian Buck from Christian Blair Style and Laura Beverlin from Styled Adventures to create a fun style series for you to follow each month. We will always show you 3 ways to style a specific trend! Last month, we launched this style series with individual posts dedicated to 2016’s hottest trend: VELVET. We showed you 3 gorgeous (and easy) ways to rock this trend. And this month, we are blogging about all things HOLIDAY SPARKLE. From colorful sequins to intricate beading to shiny metallic, we will get you through the holiday season looking oh so fab. I hope you all followed our AH-MAY-ZING trip to Dallas 2 weeks ago via Insta-stories…Lord knows we had an absolute BLAST.

SUNDAY

I flew in a little early to spend time with my brother and sister-in-law. Oh, how I missed them. It was so nice to see their home, catch up, and laugh a lot. If you think I am sarcastic, you should meet my brother, Will aka Sport or Pal. He has always been the prize child of the family: handsome, athletic, funny, and extremely talented. It was so great to see them!

MONDAY

I met the girls at The Westin Downtown to get ready for the big day. First on the agenda: LUNCH. We made our way down the street to The Joule hotel to take a few pictures for Insta (duh) and had an amazing lunch at Americano. A couple of cocktails later, we were brainstorming and strategizing to of course take over the world. After lunch, we were craving coffee. Funny story. We wanted marble tables, so we could take pictures of our coffee and accessories. #itsabloggerthing Well, we searched Insta for the perfect place, and finally found it.

After arriving, there were literally NO MARBLE TABLES. Seriously, where were the tables in all the pictures?? Little did we know that there were two locations. Long story short, we found the perfect coffee shot, took some awesome pictures, and had a few laughs. NEXT UP: Nordstrom! More laughs, a lot of shopping, and a quick Uber ride to dinner at Grayson Social. YUM.com.

TUESDAY

This day was BUSY! We started the morning off with a little room service and a makeup tutorial from Christian (ha). Seriously, our faces looked amazing. THEN, we met up with our total blogger babe, girl boss, beautiful soul, and absolutely gorgeous friend, Jessica Sheppard (you MUST check out her blog). She shot these pictures, and of course, we had so much fun. Through blogging, we meet so many people via social media, it is so nice to finally meet those you connect with “IRL” aka in real life.

After a quick photoshoot, we met up with two of my favorite bloggers: Lynlee Poston from Gal About Town and Amanda Miller from The Miller Affect to giveaway some fabulous Kendra Scott jewelry. There is still time to enter via my Instagram [go back 8-9 posts]. Next up, a fabulous business lunch at Meddlesome Moth. Of course, I pushed lunch as late as I could and literally had to drive (well, actually ride it) like I stole it to the airport…home just in time to pick up Min from Gigi and Big Daddy’s!

HOLIDAY STYLE IDEAS: Sparkle + Shine

Sorry guys, I am so long winded. My original goal was to keep this short and sweet, considering it’s 12 am on a school night. BUT, of course I got excited and wanted to share all the details with you. Hopefully, you skipped over all the boringness and headed straight for the pictures. For holiday this year, there are SO many great options at some amazing price points. We wanted to keep our outfits reasonably priced [you will DIE when you see the price of my look] and aligned with our individual styles. Oh and comfort was a huge factor me as well. I will post the shopping links under each outfit and at the end of this post.
