Dear Dad-
Thank you for loving me so much.
Thank you for loving Mom so much.
Thank you for being so affectionate with me. You know how much I love cuddles, hugs, and kisses. I know you typically don’t like these things, but you always love giving them to me.
Thank you for being one of the hardest working people I know. You sacrifice so much for Mom and me, and you are so good at what you do.
Thank you for our boys’ nights every week while Mom travels.
While on that subject, thank you for allowing Mom to chase her crazy dreams and work hard. I know I can be difficult at times, and it’s tough to get everything ready for me by yourself.
Thank you for taking me to the gym with you. I love watching you run really fast trying to beat Mom. Key word being try. I hope to do this just like you one day, Dad.
Thank you for reading me books. Your voices are so funny!
Thank you for driving me to school every morning. I love our time in the car together, listening to sports and chatting about our day.
Thank you for letting me be an Ole Miss fan. Bears are much cuter than tigers, and I kinda like what those Rebs have going for them. Plus, this makes Mom very happy.
Thank you for teaching me how to be healthy. I love going to the farmer’s market to pick out our vegetables for the week, so I can get all the attention.
Thank you for feeding me what you and Mom eat. You know I don’t like to miss out.
Thank you for cooking all the meals for our family. I can tell you are really passionate about it, but I know it’s tough after a long day of work. My favorites are your salmon, steak, eggs with mushrooms and jalapenos, carrots, King Trumpet mushrooms, and your sugar snap peas! I can’t wait to try your famous succotash.
Thank you for the amazing photo you gave Mom…I will cherish that picture of us forever.
Thank you for hanging out with me in the middle of the night when I can’t sleep. I guess I just miss you and want to cuddle.
Thank you for being so open minded and accepting of everyone. In a world filled with judgement and hate, I see the love and acceptance in your eyes.
Thank you for being my hero. The things you are teaching me now will make me an amazing husband, father, friend, and lawyer (or athlete or Executive Chef or winery owner) one day.
Dear Dad, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love you more than words, even when I cry or am being a brat face. Just know I love you. You are my best friend, my twin, and my whole world. I love nothing more than hanging out with both parents, getting all the attention, kisses, and cuddles. I love looking up to you and imitating everything you do. Thank you, Dad, for being you!
