What to Wear for Thanksgiving

Now that Halloween is over, I feel like everyone tends to skip right to Christmas… but not me, I like to give Thanksgiving its moment! Thanksgiving is such a cozy holiday filled with all of the fall feels, yummy food, football, family time, and more, so it’s one I always enjoy celebrating. While figuring out your Thanksgiving cooking and recipes is very important, you can’t forget about what you’re wearing to celebrate the holiday! We’re getting rid of the whole “Thanksgiving is 3 days away and I haven’t even planned my outfit” situation this year, and getting prepped in advance! To get you all set for turkey day, I put together a ton of different Thanksgiving outfit ideas in today’s blog post.

Some families dress up for Thanksgiving and some keep it a little more casual, so whatever your yearly tradition is, I’ve got a little something in here for everyone. Keep reading for alllll of the Thankgiving style and let me know how you’re celebrating this year in the comments!

Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas

Turtleneck Sweater Dress: Keep it classic with this sweater dress that is so warm and comfortable! Just add tights and tall boots for a full outfit that gives you lots of room for eating. 😉

Collared Mini Dress: If you really want to lean into the Thanksgiving vibes this year, I am SO obsessed with this collared mini dress. Would be adorable with loafers or ballet flats!

Floral Knit Dress: This dress is made with a stretchy knit fabric and is simple in the best way. It comes in a few different patterns but I especially love this red floral.

Collared Cardigan: Love this cardigan if you’re keeping it low-key this year- pair with jeans for an easy and cute look!

Fit and Flare Floral Dress: How good is the silhouette of this dress?! It looks like it would give the most flattering shape and is made with a stretchier material for a little give.

Pearl Button Cardigan: Another simple sweater I love so much and it’s under $60! The pearl buttons give it a pretty detail that dresses things up a bit, too.

Brown Tailored Pants: You all know my love for these pants and this rich brown color is perfect for Thanksgiving. Pair with a cozy sweater or a basic long-sleeve for a look that is effortlessly chic.

Plaid Bustier and Pants Set: If you’re looking for a trendier look that still works for Thanksgiving this is the one! This bustier and pants set gives that tailored trend we all know and love while still feeling very fall.

One-Shoulder Sweater Dress: This might be one of my favorite pieces; how gorgeous is this sweater dress?? The one shoulder, the slit… too good!! It’s also budget-friendly which we all love.

Polka Dot Jumpsuit: This jumpsuit is super sweet and is a good option if it’s not too cold where you live. Add some ballet flats for a cute casual look!

Cardigan Dress: I have this dress in black and I LOVE it! It’s super comfy and the perfect piece to pair with sheer tights and a fun tall boot.

Brown Midi Dress: A classic midi that looks good on everyone, you can’t go wrong with this!
