Happy Spring, y’all! I mean how gorgeous was the weather today? FINALLY, after a few VERY cold days, it started to feel like Spring. At Asher’s school, they have this little buggy that totes the kids around when it’s nice outside. I always know when the littles have been on the buggy, because they are PASSED OUT when I pick him up. Anyways, how nice would it be to be pushed around in a buggy with 8 of your friends on a gorgeous day like to day? I would of course prefer to have a cocktail or glass of wine on hand, but that’s neither here nor there. Whenever Asher cries or gets a little grumpy, I remind him how hard it is to be a baby and how life will continue to get easier from here on out. 😉
Anyways, back to the post. This is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE, GO-TO outfits. Ombre chambray…is there anything better? Seriously, I have LIVED in this shirt. This shirt even inspired me to purchase a new chambray button up for Asher, so we could be twins. I always said I would NEVER be THAT mom that matched her kids. Well, now I am that mom. He looks much cuter rocking the chambray though.
Ryan and I went to Asheville in December and stumped upon this adorbs boutique called Boutique LP. Of course, when have I ever walked into a boutique and walked out empty handed? Never, And nothing was different this time around. It was in this boutique that I discovered my new favorite jewelry line…JENNY BIRD (This link gets you $20 off when you sign up for her emails, FYI.). Y’all, I can’t even. Her pieces are simple, yet edgy and can be worn casually or more dressy.
This shirt is so comfy and soft and really goes with everything. For date night, pair with a pair of skinny gray leather pants, such as THESE (on sale!) or my FAV black ones HERE or with a pair of cute white cutoffs this summer (love THESE or sale option HERE). I purchased the jeans shown in this post from Free People when I was about 7 months pregnant. I was dying for a pair of flairs but clearly I had to purchase a low-rise pair to adjust to the bump. They have been the best jeans… I wear them with everything. Y’all, THEY PULL ON, AND they are ONLY $78. Let me repeat that…78 dollars. They are linked at the end of the post. I am rocking a Jenny Bird ear cuff (less than $100), as well as rings from Elizabeth and James and EF Collection. I did not have my Chloe Drew crossbody with me, but it would complete the outfit perfectly. And these boots…bad news, they are sold out EVERYWHERE but I have linked some VERY similar…almost exactly the same.
Rachel and Noah Echols (of course) took these amazing pictures at one of my FAVORITE places in town: Pepper Place. The lighting, setting, and ambiance was perfect for this outfit. I can’t thank them enough for providing such beautiful images for my blog. They have launched a new business called Iron City Photo. If you or your business is looking for event photography, head shots, website content, promotional material, or social media photography, please check them out. They will continue their wedding and family photography business as well and can be found at Rachel and Noah Ray Photography.
