Let’s be honest…we all need a little inspiration every once in a while. ESPECIALLY when planning a vacation. It seems like I always find fabulous pieces for my trips, but once I start packing, I feel like I have NOTHING in my closet. I end up sitting on the closet floor for hours, desperate for a tiny bit of inspiration. Here are some of my favorite outfits and accessories from our trip to St. Barths. Remember, fashion is a form of self-expression. Be yourself, exude confidence, and rock it!

I will never forget this moment. This is the moment I fell in love with St. Barth. When I pitched the blog idea to the hubs, I asked him to be my “photographer.” But when I was least expecting it, he snapped this jewel. This outfit screams St. Barth, summer, and Lindsey. And the best part..both the top and skirt can be mixed and matched. For example, pair the crop top with a bright yellow pencil skirt for the perfect date night outfit. Here I paired the top with the matching skirt. The color. the print. the perfect amount of flowy. I die. And let’s talk about this hat. You will see it several times throughout my trip. Janessa Leone is a GENIUS when it comes to hats. Pair this ensemble with a trendy pair of mirrored sunglasses. SO in right now. The ones shown are the Jimmy Choo Ives, but there are so many options out there for less money. Wildfox makes a great pair! And sneaking in from the back is my beloved Christian Louboutin spiked clutch. The hubs purchased this for me last year for our anniversary, and it is THE perfect summer (ok, into fall) bag. I wear it every. single. day.

Ok, if this doesn’t scream fun, then I don’t know what does. FRINGE, SPIKES, and GOLD?!?! All my favs!! Again, a great way to texturize an outfit by mixing different materials. This was such a fun night out at Le’Ti (more about this later). I paired this outfit with some vintage Chanel earrings and my Louboutin Pik spiked boat shoes (see top image).

This was one of my absolutely favorite swimsuit combos of the trip. I love how you can take the outfit from a boozy lunch straight to the beach. I paired an Alexis lace top with Mara Hoffman bottoms and an L*Space swimsuit top. It was a nice combo of cute, trendy, and boho. Of course, my favorite hat in the world completed the look. Don’t be afraid to mix and match materials and even tops and bottoms. This is an easy way to add color and texture. The gold sequin shorts add just enough daytime sparkle.

This has been my GO-TO dress this summer. I absolutely LOVE it! It is so versatile. For example, pair it with a nude pair of spike heels for a dressed up feel. This particular night, I paired it with my black Christian Louboutin Pik Spike Boat shoes. It adds a hipster element to the cutesy colors and shape of the dress. Sounds like an unlikely pair, but it is ADORBS. Keep the accessories simple and let the dress shine. If you can’t tell, I am slightly Alexis-obsessed. Her pieces are AMAZE! I almost died that evening at dinner when Alexis Barbara’s good friend stopped me to compliment my Alexis dress!
