Do you guys wake up every morning wondering what day it is and what month we are in? Please say it is not just me. My sense of time has been completely thrown off by quarantine, and I was absolutely shocked when I looked at my calendar this morning and realized it was April. What freaked me out, even more so, was that Easter is only two weeks away. Y’all it COMPLETELY snuck up on me. I started desperately grabbing a few things for Asher and Holden and thought that maybe I could take one thing off of your plate. So, I am here to share some fun Easter basket ideas for kids under five.
With things taking longer to ship and just running out to the store not really being an option, it looks like all of my Easter basket items are going to be ordered online this year (shocker). Since both of my boys are under five, most of these ideas will work best for younger kids, but I couldn’t resist at least putting together some items for my imaginary little girl Easter Basket. PSA: This the Easter basket is for the busy mom, who is working from home with kids running around. It’s not my normal beautifully curated Easter basket, but it is gonna have to work for now.
Also, my kids legit opened up half the stuff I bought them. So what you aren’t seeing are these ADORABLE Legos, our favorite Pout Pout Pout Fish book, and the one thing Asher asked for: Miss Nelson Is Missing. If you really want to splurge and be the Quarantine MVP, then order this backyard water slide. You can thank me later. If you only purchase ONE THING, make sure it’s this camera!

Mamas, just remember…it is the thought that counts. Try not to stress and simply put something together that will make your kids smile. They are happy being home with you right now…anything else is icing on the cake! PRO TIP: If you have kids around the same age, make sure you are getting similar (or the exact same) things, so they don’t fight over them. OR just buy an extra of everything, so you have options once the fights start. You’re welcome.
