One of my favorite things to share with you ladies is workwear, so I am SO into this tailored trend going on right now! I like incorporating trends into my outfits here and there but for the most part like to keep things classic (especially for my everyday wear). I think the tailored trend is one to stay since these are pieces we can continue to wear and will be staples in our closets well after the moment has passed. One of the things I love most about tailored pieces is that they instantly make an outfit look chicer. You can take a pair of jeans and simple sandals but add a tailored vest and instantly look put together! Here are a few ways I like to mix and style tailored pieces for everyday wear:

• Wear a blazer buttoned up with a bralette underneath for a sassy date-night option
• Style a suit (can be pants, shorts, or a skirt) for your next event instead of a dress
• Look for tailored elements in simple clothing like buttons, big pockets, and lapels
• Swap out your go-to blouse for a tailored vest and wear it as a top

HOT TIP: When it comes to shopping the tailored trend, I’d also say one of the most important things to focus on is the FIT. Don’t get me wrong, I love my oversized clothing as much as the next girl, but with tailored items, they need to fit like a glove.
