Summer is coming to a close which means a new school year is here for the boys! I don’t know about you, but I can’t believe we’re already at the new school year… how is summer over already?? Nonetheless, I’ve been working on getting the boys all prepped for school and making sure they have everything they need to start the year fresh. If you have kiddos of your own and are in full mama mode getting them ready for school, I’m here to help with all of these back-to-school essentials the boys will love!

These essentials below are some of my favorite brands I like to shop for the boys since they always hold up and have the cutest designs. It’s a balance between getting things I think are cute and all of the graphic tees (dinosaurs, cars, superheroes, and more) that the boys like, but I think this is a pretty good mix! When it comes to shopping for a backpack and other school accessories for the boys, they always like to get something fun looking (of course) but it’s important to me to make sure everything is durable. Little boys definitely aren’t the most delicate with their things so I like to grab them a backpack that will last. State bags are one of my favorite brands because they come in a ton of fun designs the boys love, but they aren’t going to rip after a few months. This fuzzy lightning backpack is one of my favorite styles, but you really can’t go wrong with any of them!
I also grabbed them a few new lunch items like this bento box which makes it sooo easy to pack lunches. These spaceship ice packs are also so cute to add to the boys’ lunch boxes and come in a ton of different styles based on what your kiddo likes!

You know I couldn’t forget to add in a few cute boys’ clothing picks if you’re looking for a few new items for the school year! I grabbed a mix of summer and fall clothes for the boys since it’s still hot outside, but I know the weather will change quickly so some transitional pieces are a must. Here are a few of my favorites:
Flannel Shirt | A flannel is always a good go-to for chilly mornings and he can easily shove it in his backpack as the weather heats up throughout the day.
Dino Long Sleeve | I had to grab some fun graphic tees for the boys and this dino shirt is definitely one you can’t go wrong with.
Checkered Shorts | I thought the print of these shorts was so fun, and they are made with a soft material he’ll be super comfy in but that is still appropriate for school!
Tan Shorts | These shorts are a classic everyday pair he’ll wear a ton but the elastic waistband makes them so comfortable and easy to wear.
